The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) admission process for the academic year 2025-26 will begin on 30 March 2025. JMI offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines, including engineering, medicine, arts, humanities, social sciences, and law. JMI University has begun accepting distance learning applications for its PG and Diploma programs, including UG programs, like BA, BBA, BSc, B.Tech, BCA, BDS, BMH, etc. JMI University will make its application form available online during the first week of May 2025. Submission of application forms is due by the end of 30 March 2025. The duration of a UG course varies based on the nature of the program. Jamia’s admissions to most of these courses will be based on the results of the entrance examinations. At least 30% must be scored on the descriptive portion. Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized college or university with at least 50% marks in aggregate or the subjects concerned.
Jamia Millia Islamia BDS Admission 2025-26
Jamia Millia Islamia invites students for BDS Admission for the academic year 2025-26, Admission will be determined by the NEET Examination 2025, conducted by the NTA. Students must complete the online application form on the NTA’s official website. When applying for NEET, candidates must select Jamia Millia Islamia and indicate the appropriate reservation category. There is no need to submit a separate application to JMI. Should any vacancies be transferred to JMI by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the university will announce these on its website.
Jamia PG Admission 2025-26
Admission 2025 to PG courses offered by JMI University include MA, MCom, MBA, MCA, M.Ed, LLM, M.Phil, M.Tech, etc. PG Programs are offered for two years each. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in the relevant field are required for admission to PG Programs at Jamia Millia Islamia. All PG programs are admitted based on their CUET PG Entrance Exam score, followed by a Personal Interview. Jamia Islamia University offers BEd Admission for the academic session 2025-26, Students can apply through the Jamia admission portal. Jamia Millia Islamia Phd Admission 2025-26
The Jamia Millia Islamia PhD admission 2025-26 form is available from 1st May 2025. The JMI PhD admissions process begins with a written test conducted by JMI, followed by an interview round and an evaluation of the research proposal. At least 50% must be achieved in Sections A and B to move on to the next round. Applicants who have qualified for UGC NET, CSIR NET, SLET, GATE, or who have completed an MPhil from a recognized university institute. For those with a Master’s degree from a recognized university, a minimum score of 55% is required. For PhD Programme in Engineering/Management:
- Full-time regular/ permanent faculty members of AICTE approved Degree Level institutes.
- Three years of teaching experience at graduate-level institutes.
- A Master’s degree in the appropriate branch.
Note: In addition to the above minimum eligibility, the criteria of the respective QIP center/ Institute to be fulfilled for admission to the Master/ Ph.D. program
Eligibility Criterion: Candidate for Jamia Millia Islamia PhD admission 2025-26 must have a Master’s Degree with not less than 55% of marks of a University or a Degree recognized by the University as its equivalent in the subject in which the candidate wishes to pursue a course of research or in a subject allied to it.
JMI PhD Entrance Exam: The JMI PhD Entrance Test will be used to screen the applicants to determine their suitability for admission to the Ph.D. program of the concerned Department/Faculty/Center. Qualifying for the Entrance Test will in no way entitle the candidate to any right to admission to the Ph. D. program. The medium of the Entrance Test shall be English, except in the case of the language departments, which may set the question paper in the language concerned.
