CBSE will hold the examinations for the following categories of private students in February/March/April 2025, along with the board’s main examination 2025. What is the meaning of Essential Repeat in CBSE? Essential Repeat in CBSE Class 12 is for students who have failed in over 3 subjects. Class 12th Supplementary Exam
Students placed in the compartment category due to Repeat in Practice (RP) should have to appear in the practical examination only during the supplementary Exams. They do not need to appear in the theory examination, and previous theory marks will be carried forward and accounted for. Students placed in the Compartment category due to Repeat in theory and practical (RB) shall have to appear in the practical and theory examinations during the supplementary Examinations in 2025.
CBSE Supplementary Exam Venue of Practical Examination
- For the regular candidate, practical examinations will be conducted in their schools.
- For private candidates, practical examinations shall be conducted in the examination centers fixed for theory examination. In case in any examination center/school, the facility for practical exams in a particular subject (s) is not available, the concerned regional office may make necessary arrangements for conducting practical examination in that subject in a nearby examination center/school.
CBSE Supplementary Exam Form
The online submission of candidates by school for the Class 10th and Class 12th 2025 supplementary examination will start on 31 May 2025. CBSE Board Results have been declared for both Class 10th and 12th; the candidates’ submissions are made through PARIKSHA SANGAM @www.cbse.gov.in. Those students whose names are submitted online will be allowed to appear for the CBSE supplementary Examination 2025.
Student, please note that Students who have appeared for the Borad’s Examination for session 2023-24 as regular students from CBSE-affiliated schools and whose result has been declared as “COMPARTMENT” should approach the school from which they appeared in the 2025 Main Examination.
CBSE Supplementary Admit Card 2025
CBSE released the admit card for the Supplementary Exam 2025 for the students of class 10 and class 12th. Candidate visit the official portal at www.cbse.gov.in and download their admit card. The CBSE has announced the schedule for the compartment exams. Class 10th exams will be held from July 15 to July 22. For class 12th, the exam will be on July 15. All exams will be in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with an extra 15 minutes for students to read the question papers.
